The Old School House is a recently renovated house in Cowes, Isle of Wight, consisting of 3 bedrooms (a double, a twin and a bunk room), a bathroom with WC, bath and shower, a further separate WC and then a large but distinctive open plan sitting, dining, and kitchen area, all with exposed beams.

The house is furnished and decorated in a contemporary style making excellent use of the space available in this unusual property. To allow a view of the River Medina from the living area, the accommodation is configured with the bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor and on the first floor a WC and open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen. We have been rated as 3 star by the English Tourism Council.

The house is ideal for the yachtsman wanting a well equipped comfortable, warm (and dry !) house, a family wanting a spacious practical holiday cottage, or a couple just wanting a break from it all ! 

Even though the house is in East Cowes, it is less than 100 yards from the Chain Ferry (Floating Bridge) and therefore only a 10 min walk to Cowes High St. Being situated off the main road on a No-Through-Road, there is no passing traffic making it a very tranquil setting, yet from the sitting room, there are fabulous views of the river which is a hive of activity all year round.
